LOTR-TW WORLD LEAGUE: Rules and Results

RULES

1) Version: We will use lotr-tw multiplayer version 2.08m (to install over main patch 2.08c, instructions inside):

2) Hamachi: Battles will be fought using hamachi nets. Official net:

3) Points: It is a league = round robin, where all teams will fight agains each others.
Each round, one team have to fight 2 battles against the opponent team, one being the local, another being the visitor.

Each victory = 1 point, each defeat = 0 points: possible results (2-0, 1-1, 0-2)
If the round can't be played: 1 point for each team (1-1)
If only one battle played: 1 point for the winner and 0 for the loser (1-0)

The team with more points when tournament ends is the Winner.

4) Schedule: The default day and hour to play the matches is Saturdays at 18:00 GMT.
But you can decide to play any other day or hour along the same week if both teams agree.

5) Num of Players and Money: There are 2 or 3 people in each team.
Battles are going to be:
- either 2v2 (with 24.000 money)
- or 2v3 (with 24.000 and max 40 units for the 3)
- or 3v3 (with 36.000 money).


6) Battle procedure:
- The local team host the game, and chooses map, Random or Calm weather, Normal unit size (Large if both teams agree), and time of day.
Available maps: Dead Marshes, Wildlands, Khand, Pelargir and The Shire

- The visitor team chooses the "Team number" that will determine the deployment area, and visitors choose one faction first. Then local chooses one faction, visitor another, etc until the local chooses the latest faction.

- Local team is the attacker: If in battle no ones want to advance, the local team is forced to move until any unit from any team is being attacked. Shooting arrows or catapult fire count as valid attacks.

7) Army selection: 50% infantry rule:
- Max 5 of the same unit.
- Min 50% of the army must be infantry (non-cavalry, non-skirmishes, nor monsters).

- Max 3 Mumaks/Trolls/Fellbeasts/Berserks (in total)
- Max 2 artillery
- Max 1 general bodyguard unit (those with horn ability, or hero portrait in unit card)

CANCELLED
We were able to join some people and to play some fun games, but no one single tournament battle was possible due to people missing, missunderstanding of hours, people on vacations...
